In the pre-SIM days, I'd often have two or more phones cloned to the same id# -- for example, a handheld, a  built-in car phone, and a spare handheld at the office in case I forgot my regular phone.

Is it possible to do this with the current generation of phones?

It is, but cell companys will eventually find out and I could be wrong but I think cloning is illegal. Now a days it is just easier to swap sims...

Oh yes...and u have to have cloned sims. I wouldnt bother with CDMA phones..
